Requirements:
The applicant shall complete the application for study using the web application e-doktorand at the address https://studuj.czu.cz/en. The applicant shall send the electronic application and submit a printed version with the attachements (see above) to the Science and Research Department FE CULS Prague (Mrs. Skrbková) by the 31st of May, 2016, (electronic as well as printed versions).
The applicant to the Ph.D. Study Programme shall sit for an oral entrance exam:
Applicants shall arrive at room no. 54/III (ground floor building III.) FE CULS Prague for registration and for information about the time schedule of the exams.
In case the applicant is not able to attend the Entrance Exam at CULS, the proposal term for Entrance Exam may be notified later at the Czech Embassy in the applicant's country of origin. This procedure will be arranged by the study coordinator and appropriate authority.
The Dean of FE decides about acceptance to the study programme on the basis of the result of the application procedure and the opinion of the Head of the Department to which the applicant is applying.
Applicants will be informed in writing via e-mail about their acceptance/rejection into/from the Ph.D. Study Programme.

- Graduate of a Master´s Programme at Faculty of Engineering (FE) of CULS Prague or other university with a similar orientation;
- Submission of an application form including attachments: CV, List of Publications, University Diploma and Supplement to the Diploma (for graduates of foreign universities, a diploma with nostrification), all copies of documents certified by a notary. The theme of the dissertation theses must be stated on the application;
- The applicant must attach to the application a proof of payment (e.g. the original receipt) of the Registration Fee in the amount 550 CZK (the equivalent of 30 USD or 25 EUR), address of the payee is: CULS Prague, Kamýcká 129, 165 21 Praha 6 – Suchdol;
account number: 00019-5504550287, bank code: 0100, variable symbol 3175000115, constant symbol: 0179, specific symbol: 31900; - Folowing accepting a student into the programme a contract will be signed concerning payment of fees for study (without a signed contract, the decision on acceptance into the programme of study is invalid). Study fee at the Faculty of Engineering for one year of Ph.D. study is 125.000 CZK (about 6250 USD or 4630 EUR);

- in a specialised field related to the chosen discipline and topic.
